At its ordinary session on 06.12.2019, the Superior Court of Justice approved three new Public Law summary statements. They are:

Summary No. 633: Law 9,784/99, especially with regard to the statutory deadline for reviewing administrative acts within the federal Public Administration, may be applied on a subsidiary basis to states and municipalities if there is no specific local rule governing the matter.

Summary No. 634: The same limitation regime provided for in the Administrative Improbity Law for public officials applies to private parties.

Summary No. 635: The limitation periods provided for in art. 142 of Law 8,112/90 begin on the date on which the authority competent to open the administrative proceeding becomes aware of the fact, are interrupted by the first valid act of initiation — a punitive inquiry or disciplinary proceeding — and begin to run again in full after 140 days have elapsed since the interruption.
