Under the PPI, projects are being developed in various infrastructure sectors. Below we highlight the main developments in the last month.
On 07.19.2017, the National Petroleum Agency (“ANP”) published the Tender Notice and draft Contract for the 14th Bidding Round for Exploration Blocks, covering 287 blocks in 9 sedimentary basins (Parnaíba, Potiguar, Recôncavo, Sergipe-Alagoas, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Santos, Pelotas and Campos). Interested parties have until 08.04.2017 to complete the registration form, submit registration documents and pay the participation fee.
On 07.28.2017, the concession contracts were signed for the airports of Fortaleza (CE), Salvador (BA), Florianópolis (SC) and Porto Alegre (RS), with Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services, Zurich Airport and Vinci Airport. These groups paid 25% of the concession fee plus the premium offered, totaling BRL 1.46 billion. Over the Concession period, investments will total BRL 6.61 billion.
Among the projects in other sectors, the following stand out: (i) the re-tendering of BR-153, with planned investments of BRL 4.3 billion over 30 years; (ii) the opening of a public hearing on the release of the draft Tender Notice and Contract for the Ferrogrão Concession (09.29); and (iii) the final launch of the concession tender notice for the North-South Railway (12.15).
