André Furquim Werneck is a partner at Giamundo Advogados and leads the civil and commercial litigation practice. He advises on structured transactions in the context of bankruptcy proceedings, debt recovery, corporate and capital market disputes, as well as succession matters. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, with intermediate knowledge of French, he assists foreign clients with litigation and arbitration cases in Brazil, including complex disputes involving multiple jurisdictions. He is also licensed to practice law in the State of New York, USA. Before joining Giamundo Advogados, he was a partner at a leading litigation and arbitration firm in Brazil and worked at the world’s largest disputes law firm in New York.
